It's strange that cocker heads are stuck on 9.8. Has anyone had a puppy with anything higher. I notice in standards that a lot of breeders will breed dogs with low show shine. I'm wondering if our better heads are connected somehow to low show shine. Look at my standard bitch that had a recent BIS. The standards are continually improving, where cockers are so slow.

Did you know?
The sit for exam is a modified version of the Stand for Exam. It is generally used in novice level classes and requires the handler to order the dog to sit and then to move away from the dog the length of the leash. The judge will then approach the dog and pet the dog's head.
