I could’ve sworn I saw a thread explaining this a few days ago, but I can’t seem to find it for the life of me!

How do you calculate what a dog’s SOP would’ve been if they had 20.0 show shine? Is there some kind of calculator around or do you just do the math?

Thanks!

this post has been edited 2 time(s)

Take a dog with low SS of 18.1 and a SOP of 97.55.

Subtract the actual SS of 18.1 from the maximum SS of 20.

Divide the result by 2 (you get 0.95).

You then add this result to his SOP of 97.55.

The result is his adjusted SS of 98.50.

Hope this helps happy :)

Did you know?
In multi-breed and all-breed shows, the winners of all breeds within the kennel club's breed Groups then compete for Group placements.
