OMGOMGOMG. Big news. Okay. I'm in this Canadian youth service volunteer program called Katimavik.

We live on a group (10-11 people, aged 17-21) for 9 months and do volunteer work. We live in three different communities in Canada in that time, one of which is french speaking. It's really a great program. There's tons of groups all across Canada right now.

Which makes what happened just SO cool! Out of all the groups in Canada, my group was one of 3-6 that will be going to Ottawa in 2 weeks time to talk to the MPs about Katimavik. I can't get over just how crazy it is, and I'm so excited!!!!
