Hey all,

I don't know if anyone remembers, but I have been wanting an Australian Shepherd for quite some time. Well, I finally got one! Sort of anyway...she's only 4 1/2 weeks old, so she won't be coming home until Thanksgiving time, but I am absolutely ecstatic! This is my dream dog, and I've been wanting for one for 10+ years.

So...what this post is really about is.....I need name suggestions! Just a little info..

She's a Blue Merle, pretty heavily boned, and definitely not "girly". I'd like a name that feminine, but not "cutesy" or anything like that. I want something creative and original. I don't particularly like popular names. wink ;) What I've come up with so far...

"Ember"
"Lacy"

I'll need registered name ideas as well, since she will be registered, but what I'm really after is call name ideas. Anything and everything is appreciated!

Thanks!
~Shimmer

Thank you all for the suggestions! And the congrats happy :) I'm beyond excited razz :p

@Emma(BVB)- lol if ya wanna pitch in a few hundred bucks then maybe laugh :D

Also, before I had decided to get a Blue, I was thinking about getting a Red Merle, and was 100% going to name her Scarlett. I ADORE this name, but do you think it would be weird to name a Blue that?

Thank again everyone! Keep 'em coming..I don't have to decide for a while now razz :p
