Hello everyone,

Poking my head in SD for the first time in years. I use to be a Saluki breeder way back when www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=3194932 and am wondering if there are still active breeders around? Salukis have slipped rank in the time I've been gone and a lot has changed. Not sure whether to try getting back in this breed or choose another. Thanks!

There are several active breeders in Salukis, including Salukis of Morrow and Mirage. I'm color-breeding them in my other kennel but they are no where near show ready. Welcome back!

Thanks Ruby,

You have your work cut out for you then, the number of colors for Salukis is staggering. I was leaving when colors first came out. Partis have always been my favorites.
