Congrats on your GCH!! I got a 95.20 girl yesterday. Waiting on litters to drop tomorrow. I did retire Livin It Up. He sired 7 champions, and I'm happy with how his offspring have done. He left a big positive impact on my kennel. Still campaigning Slenderman. Happy to see him still competitive. Closing in on the #2 all-time GCH spot. A part of me hopes to see him make all-time Kees, but that's still 67 dog defeats away. I'll see how long he can keep going. |

Just a heads up, I'm going to FH Analeyn's Play the Game in a day or two. He got his Gch, and as close as he came to winning a BiS (he got a SECOND in show), I dont think it's quite going to happen, and there are better studs available. However if anyone wants a last litter, hit him up in the next day or two. |

Alright everyone! I want to breed my girl, Gypsy's Daughter again, but want to outsource a bit so I don't get too high of a COI later down the road....I bred her to Interstellar the first time and got great pups! Any suggestions on how to make sure that COI doesn't get too high. My hopes are that I get a nice male that I can breed to one of the other girl's offspring way later down the line. |

It really depends if you want to try a similar pairing or completely out-cross the breeding Perhaps you could try a pairing using a stud related to Interstellar? Such as a half-brother by a different dam? There are only a few of age right now, but that may be an option. If I were you, I would stay with a similar combination since it has worked in the past. However, there are a number of dogs with lovely traits so you could always match your bitch that way too Good luck! Analeyn |

Okay...I think you guys convinced me on my "breed wanted" post! I glanced at the dogs available for sale, will look at those further in a bit. But, do any of you have any breeding age (or close to it!) bitches you'd be willing to sell or lease? The worst part of getting in a new breed is only being able to buy puppies and having to wait so long to breed and show. I'd like to start with maybe 5-6 or so. I don't want to spend too much too soon (but the low stud fees will certainly help that, a definite plus for your breed!) I'm not new to SD, but am back after a hiatus of several years. (and was gone for a few years prior to that too, this is my third time around). I don't mind working on color as a side project if there is something needed (but have 2 color devoted kennels in other breeds, so don't want that to be my main focus here, I want to have some dogs that are showable). |

Hi Lycaons! Welcome to Keeshonds! I'm actually willing to part with this bitch that I originally got from Aussie. She is probably finishable with careful showing, but I got her almost sessioned and decided against finishing her. She's 9 days shy of breeding age, so you can show her while you wait if you'd like. www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=13693774 Alas, she's all I have to offer at the moment. Im struggling to stay SOP competitive at the moment and waiting for a new crop of my bitches to come breeding age already. But please let me know if you need anything else, I can try and help. Have some litters dropping Mon and Tues too. Welcome again! |

On another glance, I would also part with this lovely lady as a broodie, originally one of Winterheart's breedings. www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=13634833 |

Welcome! I'll do my best to offer you some great first dogs! So I'll just put the links here of some bitches that you might be interested in. The first is a particularly nice puppy, although she is young. www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=13740948 www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=13743524 www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=13733882 www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=13692769 www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=13683136 I also have this 95.05 finishable dog that would make a great first show prospect if you are interested. He has been sessioned so far too www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=13715890 Aside from the above, I have litters frequently if you are interested in puppies Let me know if any of the above suit. Best of luck with Keeshonds! Analeyn |

The Keeshond colours seem to be pretty evenly distributed, so there's really no need to breed specifically for colour. |
