I have let this kennel slow down quite a bit lately and haven’t been focusing on breeding/showing as much as I should (real life getting in the way and all, hahaa!)

My current High SOP is a 95.90% bitch:
GCH. CH. Dalkeiths – Save Your Soul
www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=13534100
She’s delighted me with 2 BISS, 5 Group placements, 15 BOBs, and currently has 76 GCH points.
I’ve decided to retire her from the ring and she will now be a broodie.

I’m still obsessed with ‘trait’ breeding and am still focused on getting some 10.0’s in Coat and TNB.
I currently have 1 x 10.0 in Coat and 6 x 10.0s in TNB (with heaps more 10.1s, 9.9s, 10.2s and 9.8s etc)

What has everyone else been up to? happy :)

We went down to our local beach to to and escape the heat of the day - and we ended up getting some amazing shots - as the water and the sky looked fantastic. I even got some great shots of various sea animals that had washed up on the sand (puffer fish, jelly fish and we even found part of a skull that we think belonged to a dolphin!!) Very kool!

hello,

sorry about the specialty--I tried, just not enough entries. I'll try again.

nice puppy boy, I miss the beach!

SOP's suck right now. I swear one step forward two steps back.

let me know when you get a 10 coat- with decent TNB or FQ

I don't think we every would have seen 10 TNB's if you had not done that source breeding. Thank you!

in RL I have www.studiodogs.com
I'm an RR Addict wink :)

Hi! Thanks very much for inviting me to join the thread!!! I would love to be more active in the community! And Dalkeith, your boy is just gorgeous!!!! So far, I have really enjoyed playing this breed and hope we can continue to increase our SOPs!!!

I have been struggling a bit lately with SOPs, as I have been focusing more, like Dalkeith, on the TNB and Coat traits. Right now my high SOP is this boy at 95.95.

www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=13677119

I was pleased to get him, as my others are only around the 95.6s!

As far as traits, I finally have a boy with 10s for both Coat and TNB!!! Here he is:

www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=13631735

Of course, his SS is not perfect and his SOP is a bit lower, but I am still very pleased with him. I hope he will produce well! He will be up at stud in about 5 days if anyone is interested in giving him a try!

AdroitAcres...double whammy has good head trait.

Look at top puppies at the bottom of results page

www.showdog.com/shows/judge_info.aspx?judge=Scott+Jackson

happy :)

We should be going over the sides with him as foundation.

Though with the new login bonus, I probably won't be as fierce of a competitor-- desperate for win payouts!

not sure if you know this or not, but on the day of our showdog specialty you can enter an all breed show the same day.

another thing about specialties, entries are free. enter all the dogs you can, it wont effect points. it tells you a lot about what you are breeding strongly or weakly, doesn't matter the who the judge is.

Thank you!!! I know, REALLY wish she was a HE, lol, but she's still a keeper!
Just FYI for you all, Double Whammy is producing pretty well for me. Several decent SOPs, as well as a few double 10s. happy :)

Did you know?
A conformation dog show is not a comparison of one dog to another but a comparison of each dog to a judge's mental image of the ideal breed type as outlined in the individual breed's breed standard.
