Got my first homebred Grand Ch today! Super excited about that especially with the level of competition right now!

Congrats CS! It is pretty difficult to get a GCH right now with all the champions out there right now, but it's always good to hang in there and I'm sure there will be a bunch more to come for you soon. happy :) She's a gorgeous girl by the way, no surprise that she accomplished GCH. ^^

What a pretty boy SKYY!

I am leaving the breed, so everyone is up for sale. Some broods, some partially sessioned dogs, and one show ready dog. All are $100 but if you want one but want to pay less let me know and I'll put them up for sale on approval. There are a few that aren't up for sale yet, as I'm waiting to hear from their breeder, but if you want them, send me a message and I'll let you know if their breeder doesn't end up wanting them back. happy :)

Sorry to see you go. I got one of your young bitches. Not sure if I have enough sessions to get her ready to show, but she will definitely make an impact on my breeding program. Thank you.

Sorry to see you go...though hopefully only temporarily! Couldn't resist a couple of the boys you posted, and since I had a couple of empty slots from the dogs I sold yesterday....

Audrey.. but close! That's my mom's name so I often get mistakenly called that so its entirely okay lol. I was pretty happy with that litter. Southern Comfort and her brother are fairly good producers I've discovered. happy :)

It's the end of the month, so I recalculated the breed average and here are the new numbers for this month:

Head: 9.7 +0
FQ: 9.4 +1
HQ: 9.1 +1
Gait: 10.4 +0
Tnb: 8.9 +0
Coat: 9.5 +0
Size: 9.7 +0
Temp: 9.5 +1
Feet: 9.5 +0

That makes for an updated formulaic average of 10.3, which means if you've had your dogs rated it's time to adjust their rating back by .1. This may knock some exceptional dogs down to excellent for the month, or excellent dogs back to great and so on and so forth.

Not many improvements over the month, but any improvements are welcome improvements. happy :)

For the curious if all the above average traits were present on a single dog that dog would be 95.55%, which also makes that the breeds new ring average SOP up from 95.4%. This means that the finishable SOP must now be reasonably adjusted from 95.3% to 95.4%.

Thank you very much. I was happy to see that Robbie finished #2 in the Working Class, just below Drakes amazing Secret To Success.

In other news... ALNJ Ready, Willing And Able www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=13837403 is now available for stud. Abe has 96.00 SOP and is currently available for stud at only $25 until he achieves his championship!

Did you know?
The figure 8 exercise requires the team to heel in a figure 8 pattern either on or off leash. Generally two of the ring stewards will assist the judge with this exercise by acting as "posts", standing 8 feet apart, that the team walks around to form the loops of the figure 8.
