I had to check this like 3 times before I believed it!

Low SOP - but this boy is the very first 9.8 in GAIT that I have ever seen!

I don't believe we have any Gaits that are in the 9's - I'm pretty sure most of them are like 10.4-10.9

I have also got a 10.2 Gait ... I'll have to see if they are related!

I know this pup is a fluke and it's going to take ages to lock this trait in - but hey - still exciting lol :P

So after Aurora - It Was a Friday Night was born not long ago with an interesting 9.8 in Gait I have had a few more 'interesting' pups born in this kennel.

Most of them have crappy ShowShine and SOP but I don't mind - I will breed them up.

Aurora - What Does The Fox Say:
www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=14070359

10.2 in Gait

Aurora - Shouldve Known Better:
www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=14070360

10.1 in Gait

Aurora - Us Against the World:
www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=14070350

9.9 in Gait

Aurora - End of the World:
www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=14070346

9.8 in Gait

These pups have been born from the following dogs:

Aurora - Try To Understand and Aurora - Just Cash In

and

GCH CH Ariege - The Kings Speech and Aurora - Unbroken 10.0

Should be interesting to see if those partnerships can repeat some nice Gaits for me again in a repeat mating.

I hope so too happy :)

I find that some of these traits are easier to 'lock in' than others. I've been working on a project in one of my other breeds and have been finding it really hard to lock the trait in.

Wish me luck lol happy :)

Did you know?
Judges are generally certified to judge one or several breeds, usually in the same group, but a few "all-breed" judges have the training and experience to judge large numbers of breeds.
