Anyone know of a quality, non-greasy, leave in lotion for dogs with dry skin?

Tess has been fighting dandruff for a long while now (at least since her IBD flareups allowing the diagnosis last year) and changing foods, adding oils, etc has made no improvements. Vet suggested trying a leave-in lotion to rub her down with...

It's a double edged sword

If you rub her down with lotion you risk blocking the hair follicle which can lead to other problem. You also risk a greasy coat which will gather more dirt, dander, and debris and again create a bigger problem

The drugs for IBD while helping the gut mess with the endocrine system

Have you tried Isle of Dogs No. 10 Evening Primrose Oil Shampoo or even the No. 62 Evening Primrose Oil Conditioning Mist? The evening primrose oil contains essential fatty acids beneficial to the skin.

I recently ordered both (plus their heavy management conditioner) for one of our dogs who has dry, flaky skin and can't wait to try it out. Several reviews I read sounded like people got really great results with these products.

We use cholesterol, we get it at the beauty supply shop in a big tub for like $10 and it works great.
