So I've decided that I'd like to finish one Champion of every breed.

(Rather than try to do the much more time-intensive One Homebred CH)

I've been on SD for 10 years on/off and have already finished over 500 CHs, so I thought this might be a nice challenge for me to keep things interesting :P I've worked as a Finishing Kennel in the past as well - which is what spiked my curiosity to try out heaps of other breeds too happy :)

So - whenever I have the extra sessions across my 15 kennels I'm happy to take on some showable dogs! I will frequently post in the Dogs for Sale forum when I'm in search of new 'subject's as well.

Just a few House-keeping points:

1. I will purchase the dog for $100, and if the breeder would like to take the dog back when the CH title is finished - they can buy-back for $100, $150, $200 or $300. (Yep that's right - you can choose if you want to pay for the service of having the dog titled, or you can opt for it to be free) laugh :D

2. I don't mind taking on dogs or bitches - either is fine happy :) If I take on a male - I will place it up for stud for $50 when it turns of age.

3. The dog MUST be a competitive SOP - please don't send me the links of dogs you know won't finish :P Hahaa!

4. I'm happy to session, and am happy to take on pups or adults.

5. Depending on session-availability and room - the dogs may be sessioned or shown in any one of my 15 kennels. If I move a dog to a different kennel than what it was purchased into I will send a PM to the breeder to let them know.

I'm looking forward to working in lots of new breeds happy :)

I have a keeshond bitch that should finish, she's partially sessioned. I definitely would want her back, she's part of a trait breeding project (though she herself doesn't show it, her background is good!).

Let me know if you'd like to give it a shot with her.

If you want to conquer Tollers, this one is only .5 behind the average in SOP!

If you want to take on a Norwegian Buhund, I am quite willing to lend you one of these two boys. They are both very close to top SOP with very good traits. One has only just started sessioning and one has almost completed sessioning.

Tanami Thunder Chief (19 days old, a little behind in sessioning muscle tone as I forgot to change himm from puppy to adult rations)
www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=14546766

Tanami Thunder on the Range (just 4 days old)
www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=14581027

And if you are not ready yet, just let me know when you are interested and I will look through whatever show quality pups I have on hand.

Scalawag - I've currently got 4 Keeshonds at the moment, so unfortunately I'll have to pass on taking on another. Sorry sad :(

Rensvik - I've currently got 1 N.Buhund - however I'd be happy to take on 'Tanami Thunder Chief' since he's already well-sessioned.

I will PM you happy :)

Are you wanting to just finish the dog and send it back or are you wanting to campaign it after finishing?

Please note: I’m currently full now – and have maxed out my sessions across 6 kennels – so I will let everyone know once I have some more openings in a few weeks happy :)

Summerwind Kennels – awesome! I’ll let you know when I can fit some in happy :)

Steph/Will – I’d like to make that assessment once the dog titles. If they are doing well – I will msg the breeder and ask if they want the dog to be shown to its GCH title – and after that it obtained – ill then decide if it is Campaign worthy etc. (As sometimes the Breeder would prefer to Campaign the dog). I have Campaigned a few dogs for other players in the past – as well as heaps of my own dogs.

Mournebrake – I’d love to take some on – but I’ve already maxed out my sessions after taking on 6 dogs. If you have any dogs that are finishable that are already fully sessioned – I’d be happy to take on a few of those happy :)

Cheers happy :)

Did you know?
In the American Kennel Club, a dog needs 15 points to become a Champion, with each win gaining anywhere from zero to five points depending on the number of dogs competing and the area where the show is held.
