I have been looking at all the current GSD numbers, and most all of them have a Hindquarter of over 10.....

My question is, why doesn't anyone use a stud with a lower (below 10) hindquarter number?

After searching for a stud with that quality, I did find 1 that fit the bill.

I have bred him to my 3 girls. Now I will wait to see if I can get the HQ down below 10, then work it back up a bit.

What do you all think?

Because he's incredibly low sop for the breed and his offspring won't be competitive. Good luck with your project though
