I had a litter drop today out of one of my girls bred to a Goldriver male.

Out of 8 puppies.... I got 3 99.15s and 3 99.10s.

That is probably the most consistent litter that I've ever had in my 10 years on SD.

Thanks to GR for having her boy up for stud.

Nice!! Also interesting that the COI on that litter is over 15% but there was clearly not an issue with the quality of the pups being lower.

Yeah, I find up to 18% doesn't affect my dogs too much. Over that, I start seeing mediocre stuff.

But as a general rule, I try to keep my COI as low as possible because I am prone to linebreeding and too much of a good thing can put me in a rut.
