Thats fantastic!!! Congrats!! And to win BISS at the Nationals is BRILLIANT!!!! happy :) happy :)

You will have even more success if you use the right handlers for each judge happy :)

Here is some good information to read re: picking the right handlers:

www.showdog.com/forum/read.aspx?id=471707

Also - remember that there are some judges who are 'Owner Handler Preferred' - which means those judges don't like to see handlers. The current owner-handler judges are: Randal Harris and Pamela Geist. (Pamela has announced her retirement but still has a few shows before she leaves).

Every other judges needs to have a decent handler on the dog in order to get good show placements. You can see all the information about what Judges prefer when you click on their names on the Judge page:

happy :)

Thank you for the information, Dalkeith...

It was such a long show campaign for this dog, that I an thinking about letting him have a well deserved break!

I will do more studying on the different judges, and maybe will find some that like him!

Would like to get a GC for him, but- gee- Dobermans are a fairly tough breed to get finished if one doesn't know the judges.

happy :)

The Kennel Club (UK) system, which is also used by the Australian National Kennel Council[1] and in other countries, is considered the most difficult to earn a title under.
