My dog, Gold GCh Patchouli Man in the Mirror will be retiring tomorrow. He has been pretty amazing for this kennel. I'm going to try him in Obedience next, which will be an exercise in futility (been there, done that...). He's an Afghan Hound, after all.

Finishing Date 5/27/2016
Best of Breed 71
Best in Group 22
Best in Specialty Show 3
reed Beaten 799
Group Beaten 4,879
All Beaten 15,350
Grand Points 307

In his honor, there will be an Afghan Specialty on 9/5 (judge Patricia Allen) and an all breed show on 9/6 (judge Lorraine Horne).

I hope everyone will enter. I might add some payouts as well from some of my other kennels too. Stay tuned.

Yup, he did. And it was totally unexpected. And his career as a stud has been even more amazing! We'll see how he does in obedience. Being an Afghan, it will be tough.

I've loved using him as a stud! Brought good blood to my kennel and brought me back up to showing standard (I'd fallen behind for who knows why).

He was a great show dog and a great sire (also a really good grandsire too happy :) )
