Is the selects going to come into play instead of 1,2,3,4 in breed? I never really understood those. I think by doing selects only for the champions and giving them grand points as well, will help those that have a smaller number of players for the breed maybe gain grands and other levels of the grand as well.

Adding Selects was voted on, approved and okayed by Jeff but has not been added.

Could someone explain selects please? Not something we have in the UK.

"Grand Championship points are awarded, at the judge's discretion, to the following placements: Best of Breed/Variety, Best of Opposite Sex, Select Dog and Select Bitch. Select Dog and Select Bitch are Champions that were recognized as the top quality of their sex after BOB and BOS have been awarded."


For our game purposes - we would use the Breed results - (2nd in Breed, 3rd in Breed and 4th in Breed) - any champion placing in the Top 4 in the breed, but NOT receiving GCH points as BOB or BOS would be receive GCH points as the Select Dog or Select Bitch.
