It's okay because he was just added to the judging panel again.

I really wish this would be taken care of. I don't even bother to look up judge likes/dislikes anymore because I can't keep up with judges that retired years ago and pop up once. My results are really suffering. It's extremely frustrating.l

He isn't on the judges list at the moment.
I wasn't ready to let him go.

Oh. It says in the emails that he's been approved for judging.

Just at the moment there are only 17 judges in the current judges panel --- no wonder old judges are turning up regularly!!!!

I just hope we get more no handler judges, I don't have enough time to keep choosing handlers in all breeds.
I wish there was a bit more diversity of top handlers for different judges too, same old same old ones to choose.

Edited to say..I think new handlers should stay a minimum of 3 months. It's annoying when a new one is perfect for some of your dogs and then they disappear before you can make good use of them. It's tough getting used to new judges that are then replaced only weeks later.

Did you know?
A conformation dog show is not a comparison of one dog to another but a comparison of each dog to a judge's mental image of the ideal breed type as outlined in the individual breed's breed standard.
