Hi all,
My real life breed has pretty straightforward color genetics, so I struggle with understanding the engie color genetics on here. I am trying to get more solids and partis, as we are overloaded with roans. Can someone help me with the basics so I can plan my breedings accordingly? Thank you!

Specifically, lemon and orange roans. We have a few blue roans and livers, but virtually no BR&T or LR&T.

In the EC forum I bumped an article I wrote when we first got colours. Have a look at it and if you still have questions, just ask.

(I found and bumped the one I did for Americans too.)

Did you know?
The second obedience title is a CDX, or "Companion Dog Excellent", which is earned through competition in the Open obedience class.
