A dog’s condition rises and falls based on the food that dog is eating. If you feed a good brand of food, condition should eventually reach twenty and stabilize. Feeding adult dogs puppy food or puppies adult food can drastically lower condition, as can feeding cheap foods like Old Boy. The condition a puppy is born with is based on the condition of the mother at the time she whelps. The higher a mother's condition is, the higher the puppies' condition will be at birth.
A dog's condition should be 20 before you enter it in shows.
