Hi
ive just signed up 2 this game on a basic level. I have entered my dogs 4 show but i was wondering how do u show on here, i also tried to breed but it said that there were no bitches in my kennel available when there was and she is 30 days old, i am also just generally lost. Ive looked at the help centre but didnt find it very informative.

If anyone is able 2 help i would be very grateful

Many thanks

Hi

Welcome

you can only breed bitches of a breed to the same breed male.

while you have 3 bitches, I would not breed from any of them as they are low quality dogs. when you look at a dog, all those colours below indicate traits. they should be dark blue (scores of 19 or 20, and yours are red), so your puppies wno't have much to inherit from.

similarly, you can show these dogs (click on an individual dog, and then scroll down and you will find "enter ni shows"wink ;) but you won't get good results because their quality is too low, and you haven't spent enough time sessioning them (grooming, training, exercising) or feeding them up on good quality food. all those traits should be near 20 - you can change them, you can't change the ones for Head, Gait etc as they are inherited.

Find a breed you like and buy a good male, session him up and show him.

Come back and ask more questions if you need to.

I wanted to add too, that you're showing starter dogs, which rarely ever finish. For your kennels account balance, I'd almost not try to show them, but get much higher quality dogs to work with.

To buy a dog you find "Dogs For Sale" on the list on the left side of your screen. When that comes up you find an d click on the breed you like. Find a dog and click on it. If you like it, you can "offer to buy dog" or something. Select a price and submit. Sometimes, the owner likes to make sure the dog goes to a good home so they do a "kennel check" before they sell to you. Others don't care.
If you have any more Qs I can help
Have Fun!!!

Hi. I'm new also, but I am quite experienced with showdog, since I am on showcats as well and it's same concept...anyhow...

Your dogs must be:

-Same breed
-30 days old

And since you're a basic, you can only breed once. So if you've bred your dogs already you can't breed again.

Hope this answers your questions.
