Hi there my first day wandered over from Show Cats and decided to stay have purchased my first dog a little pom.
Now would i be best to hold off putting her in shows until she is up on the 20 stats (as on showcats its pretty easy to show when stats are lower) but i believe its a bit different over here
many thanks Bella

Welcome to the game ! Yes, it's very different here from the showing point of view. There really is no point at all entering partly sessioned dogs, particularly in the more competitive breeds.
Aside from the fact she isn't sessioned, looking at your bitch in comparison to the dogs showing at present I fear she might be a bit outclassed if you do show her. Sops for Poms in the ring look to be pretty much 98 and up at the moment, at 97.3 your bitch will probably struggle even with good handlers. When you are buying dogs it's always worth checking out the "Top Dogs" link to the left of the page so you can see what you need to be aiming for |

The SOP doesn't raise, its just the stats that do. The SOP stays as it is. |
