Judge Info - Ruth Miller

Showdog.com Judge Since Thursday, May 31, 2012
Retirement Announced 3/31/2013

Shows a slight bias toward bitches over dogs. Doesn't like using the same breeds that win every other show for BIS. Has a tendency to use dogs handled by certain handlers but isn't overt in it. Moderate level of breed bias. Thinks a dog needs to earn its championship before it should even be considered for best of breed.

Did you know?
The sit for exam is a modified version of the Stand for Exam. It is generally used in novice level classes and requires the handler to order the dog to sit and then to move away from the dog the length of the leash. The judge will then approach the dog and pet the dog's head.
