Looks like puppies are stuck, I have litters in both my accounts that were supposed to drop 1:00 PM game time.

Looks like another bitch having multiple litters again, not one of mine though.

From experience with these litters, I have had a couple (not this one I may add), it is starting to look as though, FHing the problem bitch, and faulty pups, seems to unstick the whelping process.

I had a litter due soon after my multiple litter a few days ago, it stuck until I FHed the problem bitch, and all the faulty pups, then the next litter, which was normal, whelped about 1/2 hour after I FHed the bitch, but a couple of hours after it was actually due, since I was unaware of the issue straight away, and other litters have since whelped normally in my other kennels.

I have seen this current litter in another kennel, not mine.

I am also waiting on a litter that was due yesterday.

Does Jeff know we are having a problem again?

It seems to be sorted now.

Observations I have made after having a few of these litters in the past:

The cure seems to be to FH the faulty bitch (if you look closely she seems to stay pregnant), and all the "faulty" pups.

This is the last bitch I had to FH, and all the ones I have FHed have been the same - staying pregnant.

I am now trying to make sure any of my German Spitz litters whelp when I am around, so I can FH any potential problems, if they should surface.

I am no longer breeding source to source, although some do work as they should, but will be watching all my litters in this breed closely, to try and avoid interrupting other kennels litters.

Did you know?
Judges are generally certified to judge one or several breeds, usually in the same group, but a few "all-breed" judges have the training and experience to judge large numbers of breeds.
