It’s been a long time since I have played showdog! When I started in 2004, when puppies were born it took 10 days to get an SOP because they changed everyday until then. Is that still the case or are they as is when they are born? Also, I can’t remember what age they age out of showing and breeding.
Thank you!

Pups are born with their permanent SOP now.

Dogs never age out of breeding, though they may die (400 days? Give or take) and age out of showing at 120 days.

Welcome back!

Check out the Judges Preferences - it will influence the choice of handlers. Some are better without handlers at all.

Did you know?
A specialty show may be regional or national. A "Best in Show" win at a national specialty show is tremendously prestigious, indicating that the winning dog or bitch triumphed at a contest which attracted entries from the most serious fanciers of that breed in the country or continent. Some specialty shows attract international entries.
