Perhaps it's a newbie who doesn't realise they need to use a handler.
Why don't you ask them? You may be able to give them some help.

It's a legal tactic in the game. If you don't like it, enter a different show with your dogs.

It's not appropriate to shame people who are playing within the rules.

Was the judge one that prefers owner handled? If so, the player who assigned all those handlers would be at a disadvantage.

I apologize.
It bothers me as to why one person would use up all the handlers up in one breed.

I've been on the game for over 10 years and have never done this and still choose not to, EVEN IF I'm the only one showing in the breed regularly. It turns people off the breed when there are dozens of other breeds in the game to turn to whose breeders don't do this.

Try being a small breeder in a breed that does this.
Then you might understand my complaint.

No one knows who it is. It's not anyone in the breed in this kennel. It's a simple example.

"Shaming" would include breeder and breed which it doesn't.

fixed for english

Keep in mind this is a game.

You just have to play it better than they do.

If you have a favorite judge, enter earlier to get the best handler.

Your dogs not winning. Breed better ones.

Start experimenting with less highly ranked handlers to see if you can squeeze out a win with a good dog. Sometimes, a better dog can even beat a string of handled dogs with a slightly less ranked handler.

Um, am currently, and have been. Doesn't stop me from finishing my own dogs. Doesn't hurt anything. You change your strategy and finish your dogs another way.

You're right.
I still find it bothersome, however.

My intent wasn't to make anyone mad or upset.

Other than trying to prevent other players getting a decent handler I don't see the point in the one person using top handlers on all their dogs. When I've shown multiple dogs in a show I normally only put them on the two dogs i want finished first.

an excessive handler usage fee was brought in to discourage handler hogging in the past although money was harder to make back then.

I try to only use 2 handlers per show, one each for dog and bitch, however I do not use ANY handlers if another kennel has entered without handlers. I am in two breeds where there are only three kennels per breed. It's hard enough to finish dogs by yourself. I like to work with the other kennels to advance the breeds.

Did you know?
At least two wins must be a set of three or more points ("majors"), under two different judges; at least one additional win under a third judge is also required.
