This is a first for me. My 104-day-old Dalmatian won Best in Specialty Show and Best in Show on the same day! Guess I should retire him now. https://www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=17305562

Congratulations!

No don't retire him yet! He has 34 Grand points - can probably get a Bronze(50) in the next two weeks (needs 16 - 1/day+2), plus he may as well stick it out for the WC on the 30th (although he may be in that anyway).

Edit:
I could be wrong about that 50 points but it does not seem to be posted anywhere. I thought it was 25-50-100-200-300 for Grand-Bronze-Silver-Gold-Platinum. Anyone know where that is?

(I'd still keep showing him anyway.)

I think its 100 200 300 400 for the bronze through platinum.

Congrats Fingerprint! Keep him out until SDWC. He is doing well against current specials and might have a good shot at winning something at WC.

Did you know?
The figure 8 exercise requires the team to heel in a figure 8 pattern either on or off leash. Generally two of the ring stewards will assist the judge with this exercise by acting as "posts", standing 8 feet apart, that the team walks around to form the loops of the figure 8.
