I know there is a formula for calculating potential SOP.
For example, of SS is low, what would SOP be if shine was 20?
Thanks for any help,
Carolyn

To adjust for show shine, you would take 20 minus your dogs show shine. Divide my two then add to the SOP.
Let’s say you have a 97.5 SOP dog with a show shine of 17.6.
20-17.6= 2.4
2.4/2= 1.2
Your dogs adjusted SOP would be 98.7.
Hope that help!

Did you know?
The sit for exam is a modified version of the Stand for Exam. It is generally used in novice level classes and requires the handler to order the dog to sit and then to move away from the dog the length of the leash. The judge will then approach the dog and pet the dog's head.
