What are the best Herding breeds to get into?

I'd take a shot in the dark and say that depends on what you mean by "best".

I'm new, I admit, but I'd love to see more people working with my favorite breed, Bearded Collies. We're somewhere right smack int he middle of difficulty and there are lots of good dogs available to work with.

i have to agree and say that there is not really a best breed per say... though there might be a favorite breed i have to say collies are a wonderful breed! if you want some collies, i can give you some nice collies pups all finishable.
