Haven't been around in two years and I vaguely remember there is extra time after the expected time stated, but I can't recall.

Lately mine have been popping about 20 minutes after the scheduled due time. That's been pretty consistent across three different kennels.

For me, they're always on the half hour after the expected time. So if the expected time is 10.13, they'll be born at 10.30.
