this post has been edited 1 time(s) I've taken a look at the Briard color genetics and thought I would share. There are only three genes so nothing too complicated.
*Note: Ay is dominant to A Black - AA, BB/Bb, DD/Dd Brown Tawny - AyAy/AyA, bb, DD/Dd Dark Tawny - AA, bb, DD/Dd Grey - AA, BB/Bb, dd Light Tawny - AyAy/AyA, BB/Bb, dd Lilac - AA, bb, dd (All recessive genes, so no mystery genes) Near White - AyAy/AyA, bb, dd Tawny - AyAy/AyA, BB/Bb, DD/Dd Hope that was helpful ----- Last edited by Lotus Whirlwind on 2/19/2021 1:13:14 AM |
