Wierd my first post went all buggy...
Hi guys, want to start Ridgies in one of my other kennels and was wondeing what the color inheritance rules are. I searched the forums but didn't see anything.

Hi

Not long started my own Thai Ridgie breeding programme - don't have a clue as to the color inheritance rules but good luck. If i discover any along the way will do a post maybe some time in the future happy :)

Nice to met another Ridgie breeder! The colors seem to follow the standard pattern of....

Black - B_D_ (dominant to red)
Red - bbD_ (recessive to black)

Blue - B_dd (dilute of black)
Fawn - bbdd (dilute of red)

Did you know?
The figure 8 exercise requires the team to heel in a figure 8 pattern either on or off leash. Generally two of the ring stewards will assist the judge with this exercise by acting as "posts", standing 8 feet apart, that the team walks around to form the loops of the figure 8.
