Adjusted SOP is what the sop would have been if the showshine was 20.

We will use this girl as an example: www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=13871906

Her current SOP is 93.8 with a showshine of 19.4

To calculate her adjusted SOP you subtract 19.4 from 20 and get .6 you then divide .6 by 2 and get .3 so you add .3 to 93.8 and get the adjusted SOP of 94.1

Without words:

20 - 19.4 =. .6
.6 / 2 = .3
93.8 + .3 = 94.1

Did you know?
A specialty show is a dog show which reviews a single breed, unlike other dog shows, particularly conformation shows, which are generally referred to as "all-breed" because they are open to all breeds recognized by the sponsoring kennel club.
