Welcome to the LABoratory! The LABoratory is waiting. With bunsen burners aflame under strange coloured potions, this lab is dedicated to bringing back yellow and chocolate coloured Labrador Retrievers to the Labrador gene pool.
Researchers labour day and night, intent on their task. Mad professors with crazy hair mumble in corners. Will they be successful in their experiments? Only time will tell. Mwhahahahahaha! Oops, sorry, that just slipped out.

Chocolate or yellow Labradors not for you? Then please do pay a visit to my Bespoke kennels, where top of the range black Labrador Retriever puppies are often available.
Yellow and Chocolate coloured Labradors were found to have been bred out of show quality Labradors by quite a few generations when the colours were added. So all yellow and chocolate Labradors have been produced by back breeding to very old stock and by creating starter dogs.
At the current time the chocolates are generally of good finishable show quality with some that are excellent quality, and yellows are getting there, but are the least good %sops of any of the colours in general. Not many yellow Labradors have managed to finish at this time.
Most yellows are only of use to kennels wishing to improve the breed by breeding better yellows, aiming towards more finishable dogs in the future. As basic accounts can only breed once they cannot really do this, so these dogs are generally of little or no use to basic account holders. Hope this helps!
