I am currently working on breeding excellent quality South African Boerboels from Source Dogs. I am keeping meticulous records of matings to insure that there will be no inbreeding as there seems to be a high amount of it in the other dogs of this breed. It is a somewhat long process and I'm not there yet, but I will let people know when I have reached my goal of creating the best, show quality Boerboel! The South African Boerboel is a rare breed in Showdog and in real life. The Boerboel [burbul] is a large, mastiff dog breed from South Africa, bred for the purpose of guarding the homestead. These dogs were often a first line of defense against predators such as lions, hyenas and other big cats and were valuable in tracking and holding down wounded game. Old farmers tell many tales of the strength, agility, and courage of their Boerboels.[/img] Sorry I don't sell to Basic Users unless you message me, which is why I require aproval for most of my sales.
