She did it!
By the end of October Alas, Alas! stands as Top Winning Hound.
It has been a lot of piecing together, guessing and second guessing shows, judges and the perfect handlers.
But she finally did it!
Finishing as Top Saluki and winning Best of Breed at the World Cup,
now to see if there's a chance she may become a marvellous mother, too.
Alas' half brother (same sire) Academy Award did finish during the month,
and here's hoping he may pick up Alas' crown during the coming weeks.
My last Australian Shepherd left my kennel during October.
The colour bred Saluki has just become too many, and the lack of space evident.
In very limited breeding 17 Australian Shepherds did finish since Three Mile Smile gained her title
in the middle of June last year.

Ch Cold Evening Colours ended September by being
awarded Best of Breed at the World Cup, and winning Top Saluki.
With a difference of 75 less dogs beaten in the group rings Evening Colours also
ended up Runner Up Hound. Congratulations to the winner Dachshund CdelaC Song N Dance Man.
I haven't been showing any of my Australian Shepherds this month, but am proud of
Afterwhile Cardoville who did well for Daylight Kennels finishing with four majors.

August was a good month for us.
Zephyr finished as Top Saluki winding up with a Best of Breed at the World Show,
and reached a honourable third place among the top Hounds.
Three Tarasin Salukis finished their championships during August, of which only Zephyr was shown by me.
The other two; Still Insists and Fiercest Frosts were both succesfully shown by Canyon View Kennels.
My Australian Shepherd Heard them Stirring finished her show career as Top Australian Shepherd and helped bring our kennel name to a second place among the most succesful breeders this month. Congratulations to Kangaroo, who once again came out victorious!
