-Welcome to Lynnwood Kennels-
I am currently the kennel that has been involved in Affenpinschers for the longest. I joined the site in January of 2005, and I became a premium member in November of 2005. In my basic kennel time I finished Affenpinschers for other kennels. My main achievemens during that time were finishing Ch. Galaxys Twice is Nice and Ch. Galaxys Naughty or Nice CDX. Both are on the all time top Affenpinscher list and both included in almost every Affenpinscher's pedigree today, except for Graf lines.
-Breeding-
My numbers are on the lower side at the moment, and I have been slacking off with entering shows. I am slowing picking up my breeding again. I tend to stay within my own lines. Due to all of the hard work I have put into my numbers, I will not breed to any dog with a six, unless it is one of my showshine dogs that I have been working with for generations. I would rather have better numbers for the later generations then better SOPs now.
-Other Kennels-
I tend to keep my lines within my kennel, and I hardly sell high quality puppies, as I like to finish my own dogs. Sometimes I will place studs up.
At the moment, I am not okay with some of the ways kennels are run. Our Affenpinscher scale should stay low. In regular shows, I will only enter one class bitch and one class dog and a few champions a night. I do not agree with handler hogging with 3 or more class dog/bitches. I enter an hour or so before entries close, so I feel that I am fair. Also, entering unsessioned dogs/bitches with top handles is pointless and annoying. Dogs should bered for quality to the breed, if they are not up to par, then stop inbreeding the bad traits.
