To improve the muscle tone of your dogs, you need to exercise them. You can exercise your dogs by clicking the "Exercise" button on the main dog info page. Remember, you can only work with each aspect of each dog once every day, and you have a limited number of hours for all of your dogs.
It usually takes over one month of exercising a dog every day to completely tone the muscles of dogs that require extensive exercise. Other breeds can get extremely well toned within two weeks, however, those breeds typically don't place a large emphasis on the muscle tone of their dogs.
Muscle tone should be 20 before you enter a dog in shows.
