Hi,
Anyone going to the Brisbane Royal? It starts tomorrow I beleive. I'm not going this year due to a silly 'retreat' with work. Good luck for those going, and I can't wait to hear all the results. Maybe next year we should try for a sd meet up! Jessica |

Sadly I dont show in real life, I dont even have a dog... well I have three back home at my parents, but now Im living in a unit on the Goldy while studying. Not gonna go to the show either, it so god damn expensive, plus all the rides make me sick, lol. Have fun at your work retreat :P |

Yes my BC is entered but we have just found out he has OCD and will be operated on next week so I have to pull him for Friday. So sad it was going to the first time showing at the Ekka. Cheers |

So, did anyone go? Did anyone do any good? I was unfortunately on a work 'retreat' at the Sunshine Coast on Monday when the Goldens were on, so my boys missed out ... not that they would do any good! Next year I'm considering entering the agility trial, but will have to see what the illness count is at that time of year! I always get sick at the Ekka, a tradition started at my first Ekka, when I was in year one and scored an ear infection that ended up nearly costing me my hearing! Such fun. Jessica |

I didn't go to the Brisbane Royal this year, as I recently moved from the Gold Coast down to Melbourne, but I do believe that the Papillon GR CH WYNGAY SCOTTISH GOLD won Best In Show. Runner Up Best In Show was the Curly Coated Retriever CH CURLTRIEVER GO SALLY GO. Best of Breed Golden Retriever was GR CH NZ CH DYKINTA TAKE A CHANCE. I am glad I did not go, as I was not impressed with the Siberian Husky or Shiba Inu judging. |
