Sooo, it looks like I'll hopefully be adding a new Akita to my real life show team! Anyone have any cute name suggestions, I tend to like the odd names. So far on my list are Aria, Gaia, and Kajsa (pronounced K-eye-suh). Anyone have other cute names to add to my list? (:

Id love to see pictures! My family bred akitas for 30+ years, and I am hoping to get another in a few years. I miss having them around so much. AMAZING dogs.

Do you know your families kennel name? I'll post pictures as soon as I pick her!

Did you know?
The sit for exam is a modified version of the Stand for Exam. It is generally used in novice level classes and requires the handler to order the dog to sit and then to move away from the dog the length of the leash. The judge will then approach the dog and pet the dog's head.
