The word "hard" can be defined in many ways by many people. Personally I did not think it was too hard as I had already learned Swedish and Russian which both have similarities to Finnish.

Breeding the perfect dog on Showdog is harder than learning languages. laugh :D

Actually Swedish and Russian don't have so many similarities to finnish, only some words that have developed from those two. Ukraine and "eesti" (what ever it is in english) would be propably the closest to our language, because they belong to the same language family. laugh :D

Did you know?
The sit for exam is a modified version of the Stand for Exam. It is generally used in novice level classes and requires the handler to order the dog to sit and then to move away from the dog the length of the leash. The judge will then approach the dog and pet the dog's head.
