I have noticed, lately, that the numbers needed for majors has gone up, for ACS.

I was wondering, is the number based on the number of dogs/bitches entered throughout the month or just at the National.
(How can you tell I don’t show dogs in RL laugh :D)

How are the point schedules calculated?

The schedule of points for each breed are based on the average amount of entries for each breed/sex in shows during the previous month.

ETA Pretty sure this does NOT include specialty shows or Nationals, just AB shows. Best way to keep the scale down is to spread dogs throughout multiple shows.

Did you know?
The sit for exam is a modified version of the Stand for Exam. It is generally used in novice level classes and requires the handler to order the dog to sit and then to move away from the dog the length of the leash. The judge will then approach the dog and pet the dog's head.
