I purchased two dogs that the breeder had entered in shows through the next several weeks. I am unable to “withdraw from all shows” these dogs. It’s kind of a $ drain - I’m on the hook to pay for the shows. These are bitches I am breeding, not showing, so many of their shows are DNP. I assume the original owner is the only one that can withdraw. It would be awesome if the current owner could do that too.

I agree that the current owner should be able to withdraw.

In the meantime you could ask the seller to take the dog back, withdraw the entries, then sell it back to you. I don't believe there would be any restrictions that would prevent this.

I thought when a dog changed hands all its show entries were deleted.
Sounds like another glitch that needs dealing with.

This happens when you purchase a dog on approval. Any entries transfer with the dog. Its been happening for quite awhile.

Message the seller. They can go to the dogs results page and withdraw from each show.

I think the seller can just visit the dog's result page and withdraw each show form there.

I don't believe the dog has to be sold back.

Is that true, Will? I've never tried that. I've withdrawn dogs but not any that I'd sold . . . or bought.

Its worked for before. It may have been a glitch that let me do it.

But it's worth a try.

Worst case scenario op is helping build points for the breed for a bit.
