I've taken a look at the Briard color genetics and thought I would share. There are only three genes so nothing too complicated.
*Note: Ay is dominant to A

Black - AA, BB/Bb, DD/Dd
Brown Tawny - AyAy/AyA, bb, DD/Dd
Dark Tawny - AA, bb, DD/Dd
Grey - AA, BB/Bb, dd
Light Tawny - AyAy/AyA, BB/Bb, dd
Lilac - AA, bb, dd (All recessive genes, so no mystery genes)
Near White - AyAy/AyA, bb, dd
Tawny - AyAy/AyA, BB/Bb, DD/Dd

Hope that was helpfulhappy :)
