My girl took 3rd in Breed, beating out three other bitches total. According to the schedule of points on the JRT page, she should have gotten 2 points, but she got 0.

Maybe I'm reading the schedule of points wrong? Or is it because she was the only non-champion competing? Obviously there's something I'm missing here lol

I got 2nd in Breed and I didn't get any extra points. Why is that?

You do not get points for accomplishments above Winners Dog/Bitch/Best of Winners unless you win the breed.
Basically, you had no class competition so you won BOW by default, but would have had to earn BOB or BOS in this case to earn points.

Ohhh, okay. I was concerned when I saw she had no immediate competition in her class, but I had hoped that by outplacing competitors "above" her it would still count.

I understand now.

Thank you so much!

Did you know?
The sit for exam is a modified version of the Stand for Exam. It is generally used in novice level classes and requires the handler to order the dog to sit and then to move away from the dog the length of the leash. The judge will then approach the dog and pet the dog's head.
