I have a female border collie and I was thinking of breeding her. However I was wondering if the male has a higher sop will the puppies come out better or how does it work? I just don't want to waist my 1 breeding. I would like to make it count. So could I get some help?

A better stud would help you get better pups, but there are better females out there if you want to breed. I would suggest getting a good female, making her a Ch, and then find a nice stud to breed to Thats your best luck, if you don't want to waste your breeding. -Jackie |

You need to look for a stud who has good stats & also doesn't have the same low stats as your bitch For example if your bitch has an 8 then look for a stud who has a higher stat for the same trait You need also to look at the parents of both dog & bitch You can use Skipwalls site to look at pedigrees & the stats for lots of dogs |
