Sorry, I should have made myself clearer.

I was meaning in America they're generally called band aid's, but in The UK we call them plasters.

Sorry if that wasn't clear before!

Wrong. UK means - Isle of White, Isle of Man, Shetland Isles, Wales, Britain, Scotland and a few more islands wink :) Britain just means England happy :)

Heh, being German I know one phrase. 'Old Bean' means like, a good friend or something. I know a few brits who say it.

Well nobody says 'old bean' now! where I come from, we say 'ffrind' or 'friend' if we like someone!

Imagine how us Canadians feel? Our language is fused with English, French and everything else!

Plaster - cast: For setting broken bones
And a jumper is a full piece pant suit of sorts, rather than a knit sweater.
Mind you, in the winter we wear toques (knit cap)

Britain is the whole caboodle (so wales, scotland and england) whereas england is the country

I am in the channel islands, and am british, but I am certainly not english, so the difference is there
