Hey
I have this problem that one day I tried putting my dog up for a show but for some reason not a single show came up but when I tried putting my other dog up for a show then all the shows came up and I could put him up for a show with no problem. I thought that maybe this was something that is going to be over in a couple days or so but it has been a month and nothing has changed. If you know the problem I would be really thankful if you'd tell me.

I see that you have 1 male dog who is 139 days old. Dogs can only show in shows until they are 120 days old except for National Breed Specialities where they can be entered in veteran classes.

I see that your other dog is 115 days and he can be shown for the next 5 days.

Your bitch is 17 days old so she can be shown until 120 days.

All dogs can't be shown until they are 15 days old.

I hope this helps happy :)

Hi happy :) Welcome to the game! I was in the Dachshunds for a while too, they're a fun breed to be in.

If you look at breeds' pages, their lifespan in months is on the page just under the breed picture:

https://www.showdog.com/dogbreed/Dachshund.aspx

So Dachshunds live for about 14 real months on this game.

They can show from 14 days to 120 days and breed from 30 days until they decease.

Hard to know the exact day or week they will pass on, and some dogs live way longer than their noted lifespan, but I wouldn't count on it.

Hope you have fun in the game. It's one of the last of its kind! If you need any more help, feel free to post more questions and me or someone will try to send you links to the help files.

Did you know?
Since its centenary year in 1991, Crufts has officially been recognised as the world's largest and most prestigious dog show by the Guinness Book of Records, with a total of 22,973 dogs being exhibited that year.
