Everytime it goes down, I’m at a loss as I can’t contact anyone to commiserate.

I realize some don’t have Facebook but many of us do.

I Admin and Moderate a few groups and would be happy to set it up.
I can call it, Show Dog Game Group.

We do need a way to keep out the trolls though.
I have some ideas but would love to hear yours.

I posted it in Alpha Forum because Basics may not be as committed as paid players.
I don’t want to deal with finding out if they still play or not.

I noticed FB groups now have "channels" where live chat can occur too. It's also optional and you have to add yourself/be invited and accept. I think it would be nice.

I don't know who runs it though and the last post was 2019. Probably would be a good idea to create a new one.

Tarot, that appears to be just a Community page.

I would like to see this as a Group where we can all post.
It may not get used much though, well, unless we get a lot of outages.
It should not be a public page.

There should be questions before being able to admit someone.
There should be a few Moderators and 2 Admins.

Must admit I loathe social media and only go on facebook once in a blue moon. but having said that I'd really like some way of finding out what is going on with the site as I'm never sure if it is just me or not, as my internet is very dodgy so my first thought is that it's my fault.
So I think it's a good idea.

I'm in, quite a few "show doggers" who don't play anymore are on FB, might be a good way to draw some of them back.

OK all, while I was trying to get to sleep last night I kept thinking of my poll where 30% indicated that the aren’t on FB.

I don’t want to exclude 30% of our players so I had another idea.

Because, hopefully, we won’t need this often, what do you think of a Whatsapp group?

You will have to download the App but we don’t have to worry about trolls getting in or Admins dropping out of sight or dealing with FB rules.

What are your thoughts on this?

I would not be interested in WhatsApp. I would like the Facebook one though.

I can start a Facebook group because I’m on it several times a day as I admin/moderate some large groups.
