I was looking at the 'what state are you from?' post and I was just wondering how many other alaskans are out there. please post here if you are from, going to, or had been in alaska ever. please put a number that goes with the one before yours if you are currently in Alaska.

its spring here and any day it is going to flood the area I am in. #1

I went to Anchorage for a week,summer time! It was BEAUTIFUL! I did that thingy wit ha cart,like dog sledding with no snow,I forgot what it was called though.

My bestie lives in Alaska. I'm going to be driving with her and her mom from MN to AK this summer, pretty excited.

I never been to alaska, but i race sled dogs and i want to go there in the winter to run my dogs.

we get enough snow here in minnesota thank u.

I went on a cruise to Alaska when I was a baby.

I was born in Italy, but I moved to Alaska when I was 2 then when I was 4 I moved to AZ for good. I loved the coldness of alaska and the beautifulness.

right now I am in school at Sitka. A fogy-cloudy thing covering the mountains. Come on people, this is Sitka! there are tons of tourists a year that come here!

just saying that this post should not so slow. any tourists that visited anywhere in Alaska with experiences they want to share about?

I have never been there, but I want to. My husbands been to Alaska before for the military for a couple weeks. I am not sure what base he was on though. He was there during the summer and loved it.

I love the summers here too. Its beautiful ... I am not sure but I think my sister met her husband because he was here from the military.

If you are still paying attention describe the place because, though it is unlikely, I might be able to tell what region it is in

to update my thing up there:

it is winter and a while back I heard that it snowed for the first time this year back in my hometown ... you guys missed summer and our short fall.
