Can I also reiterate that not every player is from the USA so can we have and international theme too please ?
I have very much tried to keep this in mind. Dog shows do vary as to how they're managed, prizes awarded, etc. the trick is to give it an int'l feel without losing what us AKC people are 'used' to.

I'm always open to suggestion.

Many thanks, yes it took me awhile when I 1st started playing here many moons ago to get used to the AKC awards system lol. But aware of it now.

I love this game (you have to when you pay to play lol) so would be sad to see it go. So hoping that doesn’t happen.

are you more familiar with FCI? I'm not very familiar with the inner workings. What are the placements like?

Very much like the UK class placing for age groups and awards won then BOB BOS and BP awarded.
Then BOB goes to the group

Have you ever watched Westminster, or the National Dog Show, for here in the US? I was recently introduced to the IABCA here in the US, where dogs are given critiques in ring, so feedback from the judge, and a dog can work towards its championship even if its the only one in the ring.

I was told about it because I think the breed I raise in real life is #180 in popularity of the 200 that the AKC registers so finding a major show revolves around Nationals.

I think from my understanding UK judging is more similar to the IABCA than AKC.

Did you know?
The figure 8 exercise requires the team to heel in a figure 8 pattern either on or off leash. Generally two of the ring stewards will assist the judge with this exercise by acting as "posts", standing 8 feet apart, that the team walks around to form the loops of the figure 8.
